What is StudySync?
StudySync is a comprehensive, 21st-century solution for Grades 6–12 English Language Arts. StudySync was built from the ground up to fully align with English Language Arts standards. The program’s instruction targets every aspect of English Language Arts education and aids you in guiding students who are continuing to develop knowledge and skills with increased complexity and nuance, in order to think critically and adapt to the ever-evolving nature of language and literacy. StudySync helps create the context for this achievement by providing a curriculum and platform that allow you to construct courses that are engaging, flexible, and rigorous.
Core ELA Units
StudySync’s core English Language Arts curriculum centers on six units of instruction at each grade level, which, in total, provide instructional content, lesson plans, and all other resources necessary for 180 days of instruction.
Each of the six units of instruction at a grade level is united by a focus and essential question. Multifaceted exploration of these items allows students to write, read, and engage in academic conversations with opportunities for cross-curricular content and student choice. This investigation also provides students with opportunities to apply learning across a wide range of texts as they apply earlier standards with greater depth to increasingly complex texts in multiple genres from various literary periods. These experiences help students become self-directed, critical learners who work collaboratively while continuously using metacognitive skills.
Each of the six Core ELA units is further broken into six sections each. These sections provide teachers with all the instructional support and planning resources they need to complete a unit.
