Our Family Resource Hub is filled with materials to facilitate meaningful discussions to support your conversations with your students about academics. You can even share these resources easily with family members and caregivers.
This article covers how to:
Access the Family Support Hub
- Visit ilclassroom.com to access the Family Support Hub without logging in.
- Click the "Explore Curricula" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Open the applicable Family Support Hub.
- Navigate to your student's subject and grade.
Explore valuable resources
Once you've reached your student's lesson, you'll see a trove of resources, including:
- The Unit Launch: Family Support videos provide the background caregivers can use to support student learning throughout a unit.
- Family Support Materials: These guides help families support their students with the key concepts and ideas. The guide also includes a Spanish language version.
- Additional Support Materials in multiple languages: The guides are available in multiple languages.
Note
Although numerous family materials are available on the public site, not all curriculum resources are publicly available.
Within the Family Support Hub for a specific grade, you'll find a wealth of information about the course and lessons included.
Selecting any of the Family Support Materials option provides helpful resources in multiple languages.
Share family support materials
Family support materials, such as IM's family support videos, can be shared with families by sharing the video or resource URL without your site's subdomain.
Copy the URL of the resource you'd like to share, and then be sure to remove your specific domain, or the first part of the URL after "https://" and before "ilclassroom.com/". See the example below.
| Example URL with a specific domain | URL to share with families with domain removed |
