Twig Elementary: Getting started with your Teacher Dashboard

When you log in to Twig Science Elementary, your Teacher Dashboard opens. From here, you can open the Lesson Explorer, check the Assessment Center, and manage pinned lessons in the My Lessons section.

Note

Parts of your dashboard will be empty until you start using the program and have data to populate each section.

Page Component	Description
A. Navigation tabs	Use this menu to explore Twig functionality: Dashboard: The default tab Teach: Visit the Lesson Explorer to browse modules and lessons Assess: Visit the Twig Assessment Center (to assign assessments to students and view student assessment data) or the Assessment Explorer (to preview a a description of all assessments in each lesson) Review: Review Contents or Assessments. Contents Explorer provides a high-level view of types of activities available per lesson; Assessments links you to the Assessment Explorer. Manage: Manage your Classes or Assigned Lessons. Assigned Lessons lets you assign lessons as well as view students' answers to lesson activities. More Products: Visit Twig Science Tools and/or Twig Science Reporter
B. Language toggle	Use the drop-down menu to change the program from English to Spanish or vice-versa.
C. Help/Question mark icon	Click the question mark to open various help options: Support Center: Opens the Imagine Classroom Help Center Feature Updates: Opens a list of feature updates. Get Started Guide: Opens a list of video tours and getting-started articles about Twig Science. Community: Opens Imagine Learning's corporate Learning Library. Troubleshooter: Opens a page to test your system connectivity. Welcome Tour: Opens a series of 6 in-program videos.
D. Person/avatar icon	Click the person icon for the following options: My Profile: View your district information Return to Product Portal: Access the manual rostering tools or select a different Imagine Learning product if you're assigned to more than one Log Out: Exit the program
E. Class selector	If you are assigned to more than one class, select a class and that class's information will display in the My Lessons section.
F. Quick Grade Links	Select a grade level tile to go to the Lesson Explorer for that grade.
G. Feedback	Expand the feedback section to rate the program and let us know your thoughts. Note You can report a bug here, too.
H. My Lessons	You can pin lessons you are currently working on to your dashboard for easy access to the lesson's resources.
I. Assessments	A link to the Twig Assessment Center, where you can see all the assignment information for your students.
J. Accessibility Adjustments	Click the accessibility icon to customize your experience using Twig Science Elementary. You can adjust colors, line height, letter spacing, alignment, and many other viewing options.
K. Recently Viewed	The most recent lesson you viewed.
L. Curriculum Progression	A visual representation of lessons completed and upcoming for the grade level(s) of any lesson(s) you have pinned in the My Lessons area.
