Due to the recent navigation and account management changes in Twig Science, you'll need to re-pin any lessons you had pinned to your dashboard prior to July 30, 2026.
You can use the thumbtack icon to pin lessons to your Teacher Dashboard for quick access to lesson resources. Pinned lessons will appear in the My Lessons section.
The first time you pin a lesson from a particular grade level, that grade's entire lesson list populates in the Curriculum Progression section, which allows you to track completed lessons. If you have more than 1 grade level, you can switch between them using the tabs at the top of the section.
Pinned lessons appear in the My Lessons section, and the related Curriculum Progression section lists all lessons for the grade level(s) of your pinned lesson(s).
This article covers both pinning a lesson to your dashboard and unpinning it if you change your mind.
To find a lesson and pin it to the Teacher Dashboard:
- Select a Grade tile at the top of your dashboard.
- Scroll down to a module and click the green arrow icon (
) to view the module's Driving Questions (DQs).
- Click a Driving Question tile.
- In the Lessons section, click the pin icon (thumbtack) to save the lesson to your dashboard. If you have more than one class, click the pin icon again by the applicable class.

The lesson now appears in the My Lessons section of your Teacher Dashboard. If it is the first lesson to be pinned for that particular grade level, the entire list of lessons for that grade level populates in the Curriculum Progression section.
Note
Once you pin more than 1 lesson, you can use the drop-down menu to change the order in which the pinned lessons appear.
To unpin/remove a lesson from the My Lessons section of your dashboard:
- If you have more than 1 class, select the applicable class from the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the Teacher Dashboard.
- In the tile in the My Lessons section of the dashboard, click on the pin, then click the pin by the applicable class if you have multiple classes.
- The lesson is no longer pinned. Click anywhere to close the class selection pop-up. The lesson will disappear from the My Lessons portion of your dashboard.

You can also pin and unpin lessons from the top of any lesson page.
