The Science Glossary on the Elementary platform contains a number of short videos explaining scientific terms relevant to Grade 6 lessons.
Using the Science Glossary:
- Navigate to any Grade 6 lesson page, then click View Science Glossary at the top of the page.
- The glossary opens to terms starting with the letter A. Click the applicable letter for the subject you want to view.
- Click on a glossary term to open up a short video explaining the word or concept.
Click the Play button to watch the video.
Optional: Underneath the video, open the Transcript drop-down menu to access and/or print the transcript in English or Spanish.Tip
Videos can be viewed in English or Spanish, or with English or Spanish captions. Use the video controls to select your preferences.
