Twig Elementary: Pacing guides

Pacing guides tell you how long each lesson in a module takes, how many lessons there are, and where key assessments appear. They also alert you when an Anchor Phenomenon lesson will increase the length of a lesson, provide a list of Summative Assessments, and identify optional activities such as team challenges and Leveled Readers.

The guides are available for Full Course lessons and Fast Track lessons via a link above the lists of lessons on the Driving Question page. The guides include information for all Driving Questions in the module you've selected.

To access the Pacing guides:

1. Log in to Twig Science Elementary.
2. Use the Lesson Explorer to navigate from a grade level to a module to a Driving Question. 
3. In the Full Course Lessons or Fast Track Lessons section of the Driving Question page, click Pacing Guide.
   
    
4. You have the option to download the guide and/or have it read aloud to you. The guide is the same for each Driving Question in the module. However, the Full Course version is different than the Fast Track version.
