Twig Science Elementary: Using translate tools

Text on Twig Science can be translated into multiple languages using our integrated Read Aloud tool or by downloading Google Translate.

The Read Aloud feature within the Twig Science platform allows users to translate student-facing materials and lesson text, such as teacher-prep sections and video transcripts, into different languages as either text or audio.

Google Translate is also compatible with Twig Science, which can be used to translate any text on the site. This can be done by adding Google Translate as a browser extension.

Click on the headers below to find out how to use each translation tool.

     Note

Once you save your selection, it will still be saved even after you log out and log back in again, so you won't need to repeat steps 3 through 6 unless you want to select a different language.

  7. Highlight the text you want to translate, then click Read Aloud again and select the translate icon.
