How to use presenter mode

Using the Presenter View is simple. In just a few clicks, you can present content to students and see your teaching notes at the same time.

Once you are in the Lesson Plan that you want to present, click "Presenter" on the blue navigation toolbar.

A new browser window or tab will open showing the teaching notes. This page is teacher-facing only.

 Tips

If you use two monitors, keep this window in the monitor that is not being displayed to the students.

Fullscreen mode

You may choose to open the Lesson Plan in full screen to present to your students. On the navigation toolbar, click "Fullscreen."

 Tips

Drag the browser window with the Lesson Plan open to the student-facing display. This display could be another monitor, a Promethean/SMART board, or a projector.

Card navigation

You can use the navigation toolbar in the teaching notes to control the cards that are being presented in the Lesson Plan window. You can also use your keyboard's left and right arrow keys to navigate the cards.

 Note

The image on the right is the screen that students are viewing. It does not show up side-by-side when in Presenter View.

Exiting full-screen mode

To exit full screen mode, select the window that is on full screen by clicking anywhere in it, and then press "esc" on your keyboard.

You can also click the "Exit" button on the navigation toolbar.
