Exporting users in Imagine Learning Classroom

Site Admins can export all users from their Site as a CSV file. Two files, a teacher CSV export and a student CSV export, are sent to your email address. Exporting users is especially useful when you need to bulk archive or delete users from your site.

 Permission

These actions can only be completed by Site Admins.

  1. Log in with your Site Admin account.
  2. Click your profile icon at the top-right corner.
  3. From the drop-down menu, click Admin.
  4. Select the Users tab in the Site Admin page.
  5. Click the Export users button.
  6. A green confirmation appears and the files will automatically be sent to the email address associated with your Site Admin account. The email address appears in the confirmation popup.

 Note

The two CSV files are saved to your system Downloads folder, unless you've specified a different default folder for your downloads. These files will have the following naming convention:

  • MM-DD-YYYY-yoursitename-teacher_report
  • MM-DD-YYYY-yoursitename-student_report

Frequently asked questions

The link to the CSV file doesn't work. What should I do?
The link to each file has a 24-hour time limit. If your link is expired or not working, you'll need to export your users again.
